After graduating from Durham University with a degree in Modern Languages (German, Russian, Spanish and Dutch) and a memorable year abroad in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia and Tübingen, Germany, I embarked on a career in publishing in the textile industry. I have always loved travel and immersing myself in different cultures, so this first job enabled me to use my translation skills and travel across Europe representing the company at trade exhibitions. I moved into political campaigning and continued to use my languages for pro-European organisations for a number of years. I then transitioned to the university sector, continuing my passion for education, where I spent 15 years in communications and marketing roles, most recently as Director of Public Relations at King’s College London. During this time, I studied for my Diploma in Public Relations (CIPR) and Certificate of Higher Education Management (University of Southampton).
At St Joseph’s I am responsible for Marketing, Admissions and Alumni & Development. We promote the College to prospective parents and pupils, champion the successes of our amazing students, alumni and staff and ensure that the journey from application, assessment and eventual admission is a smooth one.
In my spare time I enjoy cinema, theatre, gardening and travel.
