Ever since I was in Primary School myself, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. I started my career working in a nursery before going to Bath Spa University and gaining a degree in Education Studies with Geography. I then worked in a state school as a teaching assistant, gaining more experience supporting young children and working towards my dream of becoming a teacher. I did my PGCE at Reading University in 2015 and have been teaching in a state school ever since. Throughout these years I took on many roles, including English and Phonics Lead, Key Stage One Lead and Staff Governor. I joined St Joseph’s in September 2023 and I am very excited to be a part of such a wonderful and dedicated team. When I am not in school, I enjoy going to gym classes or spending time with my 3 gorgeous nephews. I am also quite into football and support Liverpool thanks to my Dad and brother.
