We are so proud to share that Year 10 student Nathan has been offered a place in the prestigious National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT)!
Nathan went through a two-stage audition process, starting with group acting, singing, and dance workshops. While the experience was nerve-wracking, he found it enjoyable thanks to the supportive and friendly atmosphere. The process felt more like a workshop than a formal audition, which helped him feel more at ease—especially as this was his first time auditioning.
After being invited to the casting weekend for Carousel and Tuck Everlasting, Nathan had a busy few days preparing songs and scenes, all while wrapping up his school production of Footloose. His hard work paid off when he found out he had been cast in Tuck Everlasting—news he describes as one of the best moments of his life!

Nathan will now take part in two weeks of rehearsals at The King’s School, Canterbury, followed by a final rehearsal week in the summer. He will then perform at the Birmingham Hippodrome from 11th-16th August. He’s looking forward to working with professional directors and choreographers and getting a taste of the industry.
Huge congratulations, Nathan! We can’t wait to see you on stage!
