Rachel has a degree in Languages for Business from Oxford Brookes and a PCGE from Canterbury Christ Church. After that, she starting teaching at Christ the King Catholic Primary School where she developed a passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs and this was built upon further while working at The Avenue Special School. Whilst working at The Avenue School, Christ the King built the first Autism Resource in Reading, which Rachel returned to manage in 2012. Since then, she has become Assistant Head, Inclusion Manager and has completed the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (Senco) Accreditation and now supports other Primary Schools in Reading as an Autism Education (AET) Trust trainer and advisor.
Rachel’s other interests include, keeping fit, cooking, gardening and Lego.
