Maddy is looking forward to studying History, Philosophy, and Maths for A Level. She is considering applying to Oxford to study PPE. She can’t wait to have the freedom to manage her own workload and time. She likes the fact that St Joe’s is a relatively small school where teachers can focus on every student as they know them well and how to support them individually. She has enjoyed co-curricular activities including LAMDA, Choir, Model United Nations and playing piano.

Kieran is really pleased with his results and plans to take Latin, Maths and English for A Level. He wants to study Law at UCL and train to be a barrister. He enjoyed work experience at the Royal Courts of Justice and National Grid and has just completed Latin Summer School at UCL. He is looking forward to more freedom in Sixth Form and hopes to have a leadership role. He says St Joe’s has given him confidence in performing and public speaking. He has participated in drama productions, the Football First Team and Café Scientifique. His advice to incoming Year 11s is ‘don’t procrastinate as it becomes stressful!’.

Isa is feeling very proud of her results after lots of hard work. She will be studying Psychology, Art and English Literature. She wants to explore creative subjects like marketing and journalism at uni. She is looking forward to studying subjects that she loves the most with teachers she admires. She joined in Year 9 from The Abbey and is thankful to St Joe’s for encouraging her to achieve good grades and for the friends she has made. She has enjoyed being involved with set design for the drama production, helping in Art Club and being a part of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Her advice for new Year 11s is to set goals and work hard but also find time to meet up with your friends.
