This year’s Senior Production of Footloose was a huge success, delivering four nights of energy, music, and outstanding performances. With two alternating casts—Red Cast and Blue Cast—students from Years 8-13 had the opportunity to take the stage, showcasing their talents across acting, singing, and dance.
From the very first number to the final bow, audiences were captivated by the story of Ren McCormack and the town of Bomont. The production featured dynamic choreography, strong character portrayals, and standout vocal performances, with classic songs like Holding Out for a Hero, Let’s Hear It for the Boy, Almost Paradise, and, of course, Footloose keeping the crowd engaged throughout.
The success of the show was a testament to the dedication of St Joseph’s Drama Department, whose hard work behind the scenes ensured a polished and professional performance from both casts. A special thanks also goes to the backstage crew and production team, whose attention to detail brought the world of Footloose to life.
A brilliant production and a fantastic achievement for all involved—congratulations to the entire cast and crew!
