Term has ended with lots of celebratory activity, including a Celebration Assembly this week led by our Head Student team and Mrs Stotesbury, where highlights were shared from all departments.
Sports highlights included the first term of fixtures for the U8s and the collaboration of our older and younger students in CrossFit. STEM shared the bursting array of explorations that have take place around the College this term in weekly STEM clubs, British Science Week, the newly formed Medical Society and Cafe Scientifique. The English department reminded us how the College has been alive with literary life including World Book Day and the Extreme Reading competition to name a few.
Beautiful music was provided by our Saxaphone Quartet and after an update from the current House Captains, a number of well deserved awards were given out. Congratulations to all the students who received awards, including those given out for the #Reframe Pain Challenge, the UKMTI Challenge and of course, the draw for the ACE Awards lucky winners.
The last day of term started with the Head Student Team Farewell Assembly led by our current head students. The theme was forgiveness and they shared the achievements of this years team such as the setting up of the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee and they spoke of how they had grown in confidence and strengthened their friendships. We said goodbye to the outgoing team of Annabelle, Joe, Aidan and Asha and welcomed our new head student team of Izzy, Noah, Scarlett, Vibha and Adrian who are set to take up their news roles after Easter. We wish them all the very best.

During the morning, the whole College from Early Years to Sixth Form took part in a very blustery but bright Walk against Hunger around the College and the University. This term, the College has already raised over £1,300 for CAFOD and this walk will help to raise even more money to provide water and equipment for those in most need. Sponsorship can still be made via our Just Giving page, please state the name of the pupil in the message.

In Prep, there was lots of excitement as there were more celebrations for the winners of the house competition. Koala Bears came out on top for Early Years, Reception and Years 1 and 2. For Years 3 to 6, Jennings were the winners. Cakes were given to the winning teams as a reward for all their effort and team work! Well done to everyone!
Finally, term ended with Easter Liturgy where students gave readings and performed a moving tableau of the Stations of the Cross. The Chamber Choir sang Ubi Caritas, Stay with me, Ave Verum (Mozart) and the head teacher ended term wishing everyone a blessed Easter, a great holiday and a restful break after a long term.
See you all next term!
