The St Joseph’s College Parents’ Association has been working tirelessly over the years to raise funds through a variety of events such as second-hand uniform sales, discos, parent socials, and the highly anticipated summer and Christmas fayres. This year, their efforts have paid off in remarkable ways, including contributing to the installation of a new zebra crossing on Upper Redlands Road. After years of dedicated campaigning by both the College and the Parents’ Association, it is exciting to see this project come to fruition, enhancing safety for students, parents, and staff alike.
In addition to the crossing, the funds raised have supported the purchase of impressive new equipment for the College. These include a 3D printer, new football goals, and engaging play resources for the Prep School. The younger students have been thrilled with the new scooters, buddy bench, outdoor chalkboard, musical instruments, and a fresh set of building blocks for the infants.
The incredible work of our Parents’ Association continues to enrich the school environment for all. As we look forward to upcoming events such as the Year 9 and 10 Silent Disco and the festive Christmas Fayre, we encourage everyone to get involved and explore how they can support the Association’s ongoing efforts to make St. Joseph’s College an even better place for our children.
