Year 5 Fire Service visit report

Prep Visits

The Year 5 pupils were visited last week by local firefighters and were taught a lot of very valuable life lessons.

"We found out a lot about fire safety and how the Fire Service save people's lives. Being a firefighter is no easy job! As well as rescuing people from fires, they also help people after car crashes and rescue cats from trees.

If your clothes are on fire, Stop! Drop! Roll! We learned we had to call 999 and not 911! Get out quickly!

We explored the inside of a fire engine and had fun with the equipment.

I am sure this will help us. It really was a great experience."
