Year 7 and Year 12 have made a great start to their year, engaging in some Peer Mentoring.
They took part in a number of activities designed to help them to get to know each other. Both Sixth Formers and younger pupils needed to test their skills of communication, teamwork, strategic thinking and memory during challenges that encouraged them to work in teams, find out more about their fellow pupils, and establish new friendships.
Each Year 7 pupil will be allocated a Year 12 pupil as a mentor, and will be able to ask them advice and consult them throughout the year on anything they wish to discuss.
Both year groups thoroughly enjoyed the session, and are looking forward to working together in the future.
