The Governing body of any school has an essential role to play.
St Joseph’s College is a Charitable Trust and as such the role of a Governor is as a trustee of a legally-constituted board of the trust. Governors plan the strategic objectives of the school, ensure its financial health and that the school conforms to legal requirements. They are at the heart of how the school operates.
St Joseph’s is fortunate to have a governing body consisting of members with a variety of skills and experience from a number of different industries. Their combined knowledge is crucial in supporting the College's management team in the decision making process and offer advice and guidance in the management of the school.
Current members of the Governing Body are:
Mr D Hallé Chair of Governors
